Pedestrians: Before you cross, walk – don’t run near streets, sidewalks and school bus stops. Look left-right-left (or both directions) before crossing. Use crosswalks and follow crossing signs and signals.
Drivers: Slow down especially in school zones. Obey the posted speed limits and watch for reduced-speed zones during school hours. Be extra cautious near crosswalks, bus stops, and playground areas. Eliminate distractions such as no texting and adjusting GPS while driving.
Bikers: Ride you’re visible. Wear a helmet, use lights, and wear bright or reflective clothing. Follow the road rules. Don’t weave between parked cars or parked vehicles. Don’t ride against traffic and use bike lanes when available.
